Job Description:
This position is ideal for a self-motivated sales person who has experience leading the revenue charge in a broad territory for a B2B media market. The successful candidate will sell multiple products for a successful B2B dental brand, Registered Dental Hygienist. This individual will be selling print and digital advertisement packages, as well as traditional and virtual exhibition booth space and sponsorships.
The Advertising Sales Representative will work directly at managing and developing strategic client relationships with decision makers in mind to enterprise level companies, as well as to government sectors.
This position is located in Chicago, IL or Tulsa, OK.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and generate new business
- Sell advertising and exhibition packages within both the print and web-based venues
- Travel to industry specific events and conferences to prospect and close business transactions
Job Requirements:
Successful candidates MUST meet the following criteria:
- 4+ years advertising sales experience
- Demonstratable sales experience including new client generation and the ability to successfully close sales
- Experience in the dental industry a plus
- Must understand web-based advertising solutions. Examples include but are not limited to: webinars, podcasts, web banners, and other Internet media related concepts
- Competitive nature
- Consultative selling approach
- Approximately 30% travel
